Modern Blonding refers to the complex, multi-technique approach to the highly detailed blonde looks that are in-demand today.There are so many fancy terms like babylights or balayage, and often the images you see on Instagram are made by combining a variety of those techniques. Many salons book a service based on the technique, and that gets confusing. At The Hair Alchemist, every look is customized utilizing multiple techniques, so you don't have to worry about knowing what to book. Just decide how much blonde you want to see and whether you want your greys covered or just blended (if you have greys!). Everything technical you can leave up to me.
Dimensional, Lived-in Colour
A barely sun-kissed look? Lighter, but with a natural root? As blonde as physically possible, but super blended at the root to keep it low-maintenance? All of this falls under dimensional, lived-in colour. Essentially, it's a term which refers to colour that grows out seamlessly and without any harsh root lines, while also being highly customizable in the amount of impact you achieve. If you want to camouflage grey, but don’t want to deal with a harsh regrowth line, Grey Blending is the solution. Life is too busy to be in the salon every 4 weeks, but I know you don’t want to live with the dreaded harsh strip of grey as your colour grows out. Utilizing my Modern Blonding approach, Grey Blending is a beautiful way to balance out one’s desire for concealing grey hair with a more laid-back appointment frequency and softer grow out.
Also the way to go if you desire transitioning to your natural grey! Grey blending is the first step out of colour in a way that is painless, allowing you to reduce maintenance as much as possible until you're finally free of colour.
