HI, I'M TASHA - YOUR BLONDE EXPERT

Welcome! As a stylist of nearly 10 years, I've spent the last 5 focused almost exclusively on creating beautiful, healthy blonde hair tailored to the lifestyle of my clients in the Kitchener-Waterloo area from my one-on-one hair studio in the cozy and easily accessible heart of Blair.

With my unique Modern Blonding approach I make the process simple and clear whether you're looking to achieve maximum blonde, lived-in/low maintenance blonde, dimensional brunette, grey blending, or transitioning to natural grey.

MY JOURNEY TO BLONDING

Focusing on blonding wasn't something I planned, but it naturally became my passion as my interest and talents gravitated towards colour work, specifically extreme transformations and colour corrections. Early in my career, I eagerly took opportunities to work on complex colour situations knowing that there would be immense learning within these challenging services -- if there is one thing I'm always seeking, its opportunities to widen my breadth of knowledge.

The more of this type of work I did, the more it became clear to me why so many clients were struggling to get the blonde results they wanted elsewhere, and how to correct these issues. Through this process I also realized how much I enjoyed working through the challenges they faced, eventually helping them to achieve the looks they dreamed of.

WHY CLIENT'S TRUST ME

What sets me apart is my ability to listen and truly understand my clients’ needs. My consultations are extremely thorough, and I am regularly told they are unlike anything my clients have ever experienced. I can't imagine doing things any other way, though, as it ensure that we’re always on the same page, and the results reflect that. That said, my top priority is maintaining hair health. This sometimes this means tough conversations and compassionately saying no.

My Modern Blonding approach takes the guesswork out of booking. Rather than booking a technique like highlights, babylights, or balayage, you simply choose how much blonde you want to see as described in the different service tiers (mini, partial, full, or transformational), and whether you desire any grey coverage. Simple!

Once I've looked over the consultation form you'll be asked to fill out after booking, we'll consult in person (either before or at your appointment), and from there I’ll create the perfect look for you — whether it's a subtle enhancement or a full transformation.

When I’m not in the salon making clients' dreams come true, I enjoy spending time with my dog and boyfriend, exploring KW and taking it easy at home in equal measure.

As a foodie, I’m deeply connected to the culinary world — my boyfriend is a chef, and

If you ever need a recommendation, I can definitely help!I also love experimenting with cocktails at home; my signature Clover Club, made with homemade raspberry syrup, is always a hit with friends and family.

Beyond food and drink, I’m passionate about seeking out new experiences and enjoying my favourite hobbies, whether it’s

travelling to inspiring destinations, diving into a captivating book, going to a concert, or unwinding with a favourite show or video game. These are the moments that help me stay inspired and recharge.
